I just wrapped up the final project in my class on Technology and Information Systems. While it's nothing to get excited about, I designed a basic warning system that functions the same way you might use a tripwire perimeter while camping. But you can use this at home or on the go. Some additional components could easily be added to this design to add record or remote reporting functions.

I wanted to test out the system with both Arduino and ESP32 to see which functioned best for my project. I ultimately decided that Arduino was best in this instance, because it is easier to power anywhere. If you want Wifi or Bluetooth capabilities, just pop on a shield.

I have provided links to the code, PDF and PowerPoint if you are interesting in reviewing what went into the making of the project.
